Hi,
I'm
Auntie Lynda, a.k.a. Lynda Shehan. My qualifications to care
for your precious pets are as follows:
Lifetime
of pet ownership. I learned respect for pets from the actions
of my parents. Every day of my life, I have had the pleasure
and privilege of pets.
Sixteen
years of actively volunteering in animal rescue. Through these
life changing experiences, I've looked into the faces of 'hopelessness'
and seen these faces change to content and happiness. I've
cleaned cages full of 'poop', walked dogs that have never been
on leash, transported animals hundreds of miles, raised hundreds
of thousands of dollars in fundraisers for animal rescues and
sometimes finding it necessary to just be there at the ending
of a life with a soft prayer. |
I've
been a part of the following organizations:
- SPCA
of Tampa Bay
- Friends
of Strays
- Pinellas
Animal Foundation
- Chihuahua
Rescue
- *Cofounder
and Coordinator of "Get Rescued....in Gulfport"
I
have intensively studied dog training, cat and dog behavior modification
and certified by the American Red Cross in Pet First Aid.
My
personal pets have ranged from Rabbits, Guinea Pigs, small birds,
dogs from Dobermans to Chihuahuas and cats. Many of my pets were
adopted at an elderly age and my first Chihuahua had only three
legs but a huge personality.
I've
lived in Florida for 30 years, St. Pete Bch/Gulfport for 17 of
those years. I'm involved in our community. I am a mature woman
who takes pet care very seriously, thus I have fully insured
my business for my client's protection.
Hopefully
you will allow Auntie Lynda's Pet Care & Sitting Services
to customize a program for you and your "Faithful Friend".

| * "Get
Rescued.....in Gulfport" is a fundraising opportunity for
all rescue groups to come together in Gulfport Florida the first
week of March, to raise money for their rescues. Together, these
independent, somewhat smaller rescue groups, can become a large
rescue where hundreds of people join in a festival atmosphere spending
monies on silent auctions, rescue merchandise and ending the evening
bidding on live auction items at an elegant wine tasting event.
People come from all over the country to enjoy this most important
day. 100% of the monies from this event goes to the animals. |
